I highly recommend Elizabeth and her team. I do not live in the area and wanted to sell my house. She looked at my property and advised that I sell “as is”. Even though I wasn’t officially her client, she gave me advice on how to put myself in a good position to immediately bid on a home. She was flexible with her time when we agreed to meet the next day. She sounded knowledgeable and informed about the real estate market and especially about the area where I wanted to live. List With Elizabeth was the second real estate company I contacted. Unlike the first company, Elizabeth didn’t try to pressure me into deciding on the spot if I wanted to work with her. I told her about my list of must haves and that I wanted to live within the much sought after WSHS boundary. I told her I would need handholding. I found the house hunting process kind of scary. I knew before we parted that I would be comfortable working with her. Monday evening I became her client. We touched base again on Tuesday. Thursday morning I asked to see 2 homes. She said she could show me those 2, plus 2 more. When we met, one of the homes was already in a pending status. We saw 3 homes and I really liked the first one. I asked her how long had it been on the market and she said one day. I told her I really liked it. She said if you want it, we can start working on it right now. I said I did! Luckily, the sellers were looking at bids on a case-by-case basis. Elizabeth said this is what we have to do. I trusted her 100%. Even though she provided guidance, I made the final decisions. I have to say this was an exceptional experience. I am not normally a fan of "salespeople." In fact, we had recently "fired" a real estate agent for simply doing nothing in our home search in Arizona. "It was all about the Benjamins." We knew we needed to sell our house in VA and couldn't mess around. I contacted several folks and Liz and her team were extremely responsive. As in minutes. And it was not the usual platitudes and promises that convey "I want a commission" but rather very helpful and thoughtful dialogue on how to get what we wanted out of the sale. Throughout the entire process, her guidance and recommendations were spot on. She didn't make false promises. We were confident our house would sell but Liz's sense of the market and how many offers we might get at a price were spot on. It took a little longer to get things ready to sell and meet the marketing needs Liz established but it worked like a charm. When we saw the digital marketing package we thought "Why hadn't we done that with our house?" We fell in love with our house again. We sold the home in 4 days and then Liz's team kicked into high gear to ensure all of the paperwork was done and proper to close in minimum time. Elizabeth was a tremendous help in selling our townhouse in Kingstowne. She met with me early and walked me through the process, including recommended aesthetic improvements to make the house more appealing. She assisted me in working with the Homeowners Association to secure needed paperwork and a closing inspection (a painful process). She arranged for beautiful staging of the house and pushed out great marketing materials, including a social media video tour of the house. We worked together to look at comps and decide on an asking price. She held two open houses and provided me with feedback on what she heard from potential buyers. Elizabeth helped us sell our house. She was great to work with. Bottom Line: I recommend Elizabeth and her team, especially if you're new to the home buying process like I was. Everyone was very responsive, and no question or concern was too small or dumb. We were treated very well throughout the entire process (even when we weren't seriously looking yet), and Elizabeth always made us a feel as though we were just as important as everyone else (even before we officially signed with her). Even after closing, she checks up on us periodically to see how we are doing with our home. She truly wants her clients to be happy.My husband and I met Elizabeth at an open house for a home she was selling in Spring 2023. She was probably the fifth real estate agent we had met by then, and from the beginning she treated us the same as she did for all of the people who walked through the door. Even when she found out we weren't planning on seriously looking for another 3-4 months (we were doing our housing market research at that point), she dedicated time to talk to us at the open house, talk through some tips for the future, and even met with us at our home on a weekday evening as though we were already her client. All the other agents we had met at open houses until that point either didn't pay attention to people, or blew us off the moment they found out we weren't looking seriously just yet. During her consultative visit in our home she broke down some of the aspects we needed to know for the market and also what we needed to do to stay competitive (including when using a VA loan, which is what we had).
