In an effort to remove the funding gap, LIST WITH ELIZABETH® agreed to fund the last quarter of the City Day Work Program to keep it going without any interruptions with a donation of $15,000.00 to the Lamb Center allocated for the Fairfax City Day Work Program. Kevin along with his wife Elizabeth Ann Kline who is co-owner, Lead Agent and the face of the "LIST WITH ELIZABETH" brand, both wanted to confirm their commitment to the Lamb Center and to the community where their family lives, works and plays.
"While our real estate agents enjoy helping our clients buy and sell their homes in Northern Virginia, D.C. and Maryland, Elizabeth and I make sure never to forget that there are many in our community that do not have a place of their own to call home," Kline stated, "these are people within our community that want to work, and want to use this experience on their own resume to find more permanent employment elsewhere. Stopping this would do a lot of harm to individuals actually trying to do the right thing."
The Lamb Center, which does not house its guests overnight, offers hot meals, laundry services, showers, in-house dental and medical care, haircuts, phone and computer access, legal services and resume assistance. There are full-time staff members to help manage and assist the guests with all of their needs. The center also includes a store where guests can try on and pick out donated clothes and shoes, and even suits and dresses for upcoming interviews and employment opportunities.
The City Jobs program currently enables 8-10 Lamb Center guests the ability to work with the Fairfax City Parks and Recreations Department. The participants are provided transportation to the job sites, are fully supervised and are paid $10 per hour in cash at the end of each shift.

Mayor of Fairfax City, David Meyer joined the group for what was a very impactful and memorable visit for the team of real estate agents. "We look forward to many more opportunities to give back and invest in our community", Kline added. "Our commitment to The Lamb Center and our community is something we care greatly about."
The entire LIST WITH ELIZABETH® team recently visited and took a tour of The Lamb Center in Fairfax, VA, a Christian non-profit homeless day center located within the City of Fairfax, that helps feed, clothe, educate and assist those in less fortunate situations with an opportunity to get back on their feet.
Kevin Kline, CEO and President of LIST WITH ELIZABETH, recently was made aware that the City of Fairfax government funding for the Fairfax City Day Work Program fiscal year ran out at the end of February and the City would not be able to fund the program again until the next fiscal year. This would mean that the paid city jobs offered to the homeless guests of The Lamb Center would be interrupted for several months, creating a great loss and disappointment to those who depend and look forward to that work.
